Removal breast implants - cure Breast Illness

We want to raise money for our friend Danique de Roo to finance her operation to remove the implants in her breast. She suffers from the so called 'breast illness' and needs to remove the implants as soon as possible. This is an expensive operation which she has to pay for herself, until now these operations are not reimbursed.

Danique wrote down her story in support of awareness around the Breast Illness disease and the negative effects of breast implants. She's brave enough to also share a few very vulnerable and honest pictures of herself and her current breast,

This is the story of Danique

I am in the midst of a beautiful process of really embracing my natural Self. Being a woman is something magical and at the same time it's not always easy. Especially with our society that always shows "perfect" bodies on screens or advertising boards, etc.

There is still so little awareness around this topic.

It started 19 years ago after giving birth and breastfeeding to my beautiful twins. My breasts were completely empty. Before pregnancy I had a full B-cup, during my pregnancy I had a F-cup, making milk for two : ) My daughter was born with an auto immune sickness, diagnosed with the 'Hielprik'. After giving birth we immediately had to go straight to the hospital and stay there for a long time, with all kinds of examinations that entailed. For me it was a very hard time. Giving breastfeeding to my son, because my daughter was not allowed to ingest proteins. She was allergic to it and could even become mentally handicapped. In connection with the stress I had from the illness of my daughter I lost weight very quickly.  Within a few weeks I was already underneath the weight I had before my pregnancy. My breast went from F cup to A cup. I was a very young mother, 21 years old and I felt very insecure about my breasts. Somebody told me to give it some time because breasts can change within years. So I did. I gave myself 10 years. But nothing happened. Being intimate with a man was very difficult. During I always wanted to keep my bra on and wore bras that were very well padded. Back then there were water bras. They felt like real breasts. But when you put it out they were gone. This still wasn't a reassuring solution for me. I choose to go to a good private clinic, Veldhuis Kliniek, that do breast implant surgeries. I had a well informed conversation with a plastic surgeon. I wanted implants that could not leak and were not bad for my heath. So I choose saltwater implants. I was very confident about my choice and I choose to give myself this present.

Pretty soon, two years after setting I got all kinds of health problems. Autoimmune thyroid disease, muscle pain, chronic fatigue, poor vision, dizziness, hypoglycemia, swollen lymph nodes, inflamed gums and much more. It is a laundry list of symptoms. And that while I lead a conscious healthy life. But I never thought about my breasts, because the doctor said at the time that they were harmless. I have had a lot of inquiries and was continuously sent home with the sentence; you're totally fine. But my intuition kept telling me something was really off.

I feel very deeply that I need to share my story with other women. Right now I have conversations with lots of women around the world. All of whom suffer from breast illness. The stories are painful and sad to hear. There needs to come more awareness around this topic. A lot of women have been lied to. They are very sick. Even women have died from this disease.

I felt I needed to remove the implants in my breasts.

Soon I will be operated. Right now I am in the midst of the preliminary phase. I will undergo an explant. Explant is the removal of inserted prostheses. Me as well as thousands of other women from all over the world today suffer from the disease "Breast Illness". This disease develops after the placement of prostheses. We have been misinformed. This cannot and should no longer happen. It's downright criminal. All prostheses sweat and the molecules that come from it are toxic and end up in your organs. As the doctor says who recognized this disease; slowly you die. There may be much more publicity about this disease. These explant (operations) are still not reimbursed, as a result of which many women cannot be helped or they get themselves into serious financial difficulties by taking out a loan to undergo this operation in the interest of good health. A petition has already been set up to ultimately fund these operations.

Would you like to draw these too? Much appreciated ♥

If you also suffer from breast illness or suspect this, we know two doctors in the Netherlands who recognize this disease:

Dr. Frank Niessen, Amsterdam and Dr. Rita Kappel, Amsterdam.

Unfortunately we have no recommendations for other countries.

Together we are stronger and sharing is healing.

Looking forward to bundle our forces
